Anyone Seeking Recovery Now Welcome to Free Membership

New York, July 1, 2007...Sober24.com, one of the leading recovery community sites online, is pleased to announce that as of July 1, all areas of Sober24.com will be accessible to anyone seeking online recovery, totally free of charge.  This represents an important change from our previous membership fee-based structure.  Persons seeking online recovery will now have free access to Sober24.com for as long and as often they wish to use the site.

The announcement was made by Evan B., Director of Marketing at Sober24, who explained, “We firmly believe free membership will keep more people sober, and that is what the goal of Sober24 has always been, to reach out and support anyone seeking sobriety by providing them with an online community of experience, strength and hope, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.”

Sober 24 has been most fortunate in recent years to be able to offset many of the operating costs of Sober24 through a gift from The Evelyn Foundation.  It is because of the caring and generous support of The Evelyn Foundation, that we are now able to fully open our arms to all seeking an online recovery community.

Sober24 is part of Guideposts’ outreach and commitment to help those in need.  Sober24 welcomes participation by individuals recovering from alcohol or drug addiction and loved ones of someone in recovery (or who needs recovery).
