Steppin' Out #1
Tommy’s problems began at age 3, with an incorrect diagnosis, and accelerated in his teens and early 20’s when he turned to alcohol to ease his pain. At his lowest point, he realized he needed the help only AA could provide in order to begin his road to recovery.

Dee, a Navy brat, moved often and found it easier to make new friends with the help of alcohol. After being institutionalized, losing numerous jobs and feeling suicidal, she decided to commit to AA, hoping it was not too late to make a positive change in her life.

Steppin' Out #2

Steve’s problems started in kindergarten and escalated into his teens after he began abusing alcohol. When a friend suggested AA he reluctantly attended even though he had already resigned himself to the fact that he would drink for the rest of his life.

Pat, a veteran of Desert Storm, allowed his drinking to destroy his marriage and cause problems for his children. It wasn’t until he started doing the Steps that he began to enjoy life again. Yet he knows it can all change tomorrow if he takes that first drink.

Linda’s drinking began at age 13, and continued throughout her life. Violent headaches and a coma interrupted her addiction but she wasn’ t ready to stop completely until she wandered into a church while drunk and found what she needed to turn her life around.
