Sober24, a service of the Hazelden Foundation, provides an online fellowship for people who are sharing the journey of recovery from addiction and compulsive behaviors.
We are not bad people trying to be good; we are sick people trying to get well.
Sober24 isn't intended as a replacement for AA or other Twelve Step programs and should be used only as an enhancement to working the Twelve Steps and attending meetings.
Here are the areas of this Web site:
Discussion: This is a great place to raise your recovery issues, express your feelings, and tell your story -- what it was like, what happened, and what it’s like now -- while gaining valuable support and feedback from members. This communication venue allows people to visit and participate 24/7.
Chat: Use this area when direct interaction is needed with other people in recovery. Meet new friends or invite others to meet you there to talk or have a meeting. It is open for your use day and night.
SoberFuse: This is our proprietary software that will help you track your recovery progress and provide some protection against relapse. You must be honest with yourself and others to effectively use this program.
Sober24's philosophy is based on the Twelve Step program developed by Alcoholics Anonymous, but it is not endorsed by AA World Services.
